Third Sunday of Advent
You’re never going to believe what happened to me this week. I was trudging through the snow to go to church Tuesday morning, thanking God for the beautiful day that God had given us, and I arrived at the downstairs entrance to the church and noticed the sign was different. Instead of saying Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, it said, “The Inn: God’s house of hospitality and refuge. La Posada.” I stood staring at the sign, having the vague feeling that this had happened before, and the door opened.
Standing in the doorway was a man with long white hair, wild eyes and bushy eyebrows. He had on an orange t-shirt that said Sting on the front and the shirts had all these pictures of a guy playing a guitar.
